In the rural areas of Nepal, most families are poor and life is hard. Often the father drinks and turns violent. With no access to education, not much to do and a very rough context around them, the kids flee to the capital hoping for a better future.
But they only find the street life. An even tougher life. They make money easily by begging, but they waste it on cheap drugs. They have to survive in an environment of violence, bad health, bad weather and sexual abuse.
A good numbers of NGOs have been working on this issue for a long time. They are now working with the government and they have built a robust method to save these kids from the street.
Still some kids don’t accept the help and are too seriously addicted to this life.
